Introduction

Seeking to meet China's national strategic demands and to advance international scientific and technological frontiers in aerospace, high-end manufacturing, and clean energy, the school has continuously innovated and made breakthroughs in micro-motor systems, high-precision servo control systems and high-reliability electrical appliances. A number of major innovations at the internationally advanced level have been achieved, which has supported the development of the country's aerospace and defense equipment and industrial automation.


In the past 5 years, the school has undertaken 7 projects funded by  the National Key R&D Program of China, 2 key projects supported by China’s Major National Science and Engineering Program, 3 key National Natural Science Foundation Projects, and 4 key National Defense Projects. Since the 12th “Five-Year Plan” period, the school has won 2 National Technology Invention Awards and National Science and Technology Progress Awards, and 14 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievements awards. In 2019, the school undertook 348 research projects, received 116 million yuan in funds for research, published 236 SCI papers, and were granted 105 authorized patents, all making a new record.
