The Electromechanical and Energy Sub-forum for the 4th HIT Shenzhou Forum for International Young Scholars Successfully Held in School of Electrical Engineering & Automation
On December 28, Electromechanical and Energy Sub-forum for the 4th HIT Shenzhou Forum for International Young Scholars was successfully held by the School of Electrical Engineering & Automation in Room K901, TIB. Seven young scholars from University of Cambridge, University of Strathclyde, Stanford University, University of New South Wales and other internationally renowned universities were invited to give speeches on their studies.
HIT Vice President Xu Dianguo, Dean of HIT Institute of Space Environment and Material Science Li Liyi, Party Secretary Mu Yongguo, Dean Wang Shujuan, Deputy Dean Li Yong, Deputy Dean Yang Ming, and representatives of youth teachers attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Party Secretary Mu Yongguo.
In the beginning, Dean Wang Shujuan delivered a welcome speech. After that, young scholars made academic reports on academic background and research area respectively. Extensive and heated discussions over contents and issues in the reports were carried out by scholars and experts.
